Combine Windows, Microsoft, the 2012 Ford Mustang, and the exterior body of a classic 1967 Mustang, you got "Project Detroit", which was showcased on Inside West Coast Customs on cable network Discovery's Velocity Network Sunday night.
"Project Detroit" may be considered a KITT car, as in the Knight Industries Two/Three Thousand from NBC's Knight Rider -- except that KITT can talk as well as turbo boost, and deflect bullets.
"Project Detroit", though, provides Internet access, capabilities such as checking the weather, finding the closest rest stop, playing Xbox games or watching movies, sending messages to other drivers and so forth, etc.
Along with the slideshow, more on "Project Detroit" can be found on Yahoo! Autos.
