Another ball took place to celebrate spring, the Frick Collection 2012 Young Fellows Ball, held at The Frick Collection on March 22, 2012 in New York City, bringing out fashionistas just about thawing out from winter.
Attending the Ball were Elizabeth Kurpis, Esq. in her tangerine gown with the interesting cap sleeves, Alexis Light wore a stunning navy and pearl grey strapless gown with a tiered skirt, while vintage fashion lover Heidi Rosenau wore a camellia in her hair and a vintage inspired cream colored dress with a peter pan collar.
Another vintage fashions lover wore a titled tophat with a pink orchid to accessorize her black chiffon dress, an antiqued lace parasol in her gloved hand.
Creative director of Chantecaille Cosmetics Olivia Chantecaille donned an Art Deco style gown with a long flowing train, while Lucy Jane Lang’s cappuccino colored strapless gown, which she accessorized with over the elbow white gloves and garland seemed to be from the same era, if not a little earlier.
Writer Tinsley Mortimer opted for a modern take on the classical goddess gown, while Kate Schelter belted her deep plum colored goddess gown, standing next to Chris Schumacher in his dapper tuxedo with a pale lavender pocket kerchief and what appeared to be embroidery embellished velvet loafers.
