The Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament continues tonight with the first game of the night between the #10 seed Xavier Musketeers (23-12) and the #3 seed Baylor Bears (29-7). This South Region game will be played in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta at 7:15 PM EST tonight.
Xavier is usually known for their great perimeter play, but in their last victory over Lehigh, the Musketeers were led by 7-footer Kenny Frease with 25 points. It's amazing that they figured out that they needed to pass the ball into the post when their center is taller than any of the opposing players. Don't forget; they're "gangsta," but they shoot bricks instead of shooting people.
Baylor is usually known for their great frontcourt, but the backcourt has bailed out the Bears in both tournament games. In their last victory over Colorado, Brady Heslip broke the NCAA Tournament's record for most three-pointers in a game with nine. He will need to remain hot if the Bears want to advance to the Elite Eight.
