News sources Nola.com and Associated Press. Shreveport Louisiana. Shreveport police arrested Kenneth Willis 27, in the death of his one man old son Zamian Willis in 2007 on Friday.
Police said Zamian died as a result of several broken bones in his body and head. The Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office at that time did not have enough evidence to arrest Willis.
Shreveport police investigators reopened the case on Thursday when Willis was taken into custody on charges of cruelty to a child with injuries suffered by his three month old child whose name was not released to the press.
Shreveport police said the three month old child was taken to Louisiana State University (LSU) Hospital in Shreveport for treatment of injuries after a daycare center owner reported to the police the injuries to the boy.
Police said Teka Keller was the owner of the daycare center. Teka was booked on a charge of failure to report the injuries to the child immediately.
