Residents of Clintonville in Wisconsin are spending sleepless nights because of unexplained booming noises that they have been hearing for the last three nights.

Speculation is rife on whether aliens have already descended on us in secret and have set up base in Clintonville, of all places – to keep a watch on our day-to-day activities.

The sounds which are of distant thunder or of fireworks or of heavy doors being slammed have been heard at night and immediately the folks rush out in their sleeping dresses to try and pinpoint the source.

There are reports of houses getting cracks in the walls and of hearing rumbling noises from under the ground. The authorities are alive to the problem and have called in expert geologists and the seismographers to check and assure that all is well.
