Recordings of the 911 calls made by witnesses of the Trayvon Martin shooting case and George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin, have been released.
Social media is buzzing with the shooting case of Trayvon Martin, as people from all around the world want justice for the teenage Florida boy, Trayvon Martin, who got shot by a white male. The shooter is George Zimmerman, who was a neighborhood watch captain on duty on the day he killed Martin and made a 911 call before shooting him to report Martin’s “suspicious activity” in the neighborhood. The police dispatcher told Zimmerman to wait for police cars to arrive and not follow the “suspicious person,” but he did otherwise. According to details, Zimmerman killed Martin just for being "black" and the 911 call recordings released recently also point towards that direction.
Even after admitting killing Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman was not arrested. Police haven't made arrest on the grounds of a Florida law called "Stand Your Ground". But now people from all over the world, including celebrities, are demanding Zimmerman's arrest and an investigation into the case.
The 911 calls made by the witnesses and Zimmerman on February 26, the day Martin got killed, have been released in eight recordings. Listeners can hear the frightened voices of neighbors calling to report screams for help, a gunfire and that someone was dead. In the chilling recordings, Trayvon can also be heard, screaming "No! No!" and then continuing to wail.
In the recording of the 911 call made by Zimmerman, he is heard saying to the dispatcher, "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. He's just staring, looking at all the houses. Now he's coming toward me. He's got his hand in his waistband. Something's wrong with him."
"These assholes always get away," he says to the operator. Zimmerman is then heard giving directions to the dispatcher. "Shit, he's running," Zimmerman says.
Zimmerman then tells the dispatcher that the boy has started running and he is going after him. The operator tells Zimmerman not to follow him, but he doesn’t listen. Then a fight between the two follows and eventually a gunshot is heard.
Several people called 911 and reported that a black male teen had been shot and that a white male had shot him.
According to some listeners, they think George Zimmerman also says, "fuckin' 'coons".
