Tony's Villa, Seminyak - Bali : Bungalow ; video by Bali Friendly .com

It is a natural event in Bali for people to approach tourists and offer their sunglasses and dresses. But today, with the influx of tourists that arrive daily at the island, Balinese people are already beginning to sell or offer lots for sale.

It has been known that at the end of their vacation in Bali and staying in the beautiful and homey villas in Seminyak, a good portion of the 6 million tourists will most likely consider purchasing a lot in the island. According to Lawrence Bellefontaine, a veteran Bali realtor who has been a resident of Bali for the last 10 years, he is confident of the future demand of properties in Bali. This is even though there was just a handful of foreigners who risked buying properties five years ago.

Today, a three-bedroom luxury villa would sell twice the price it had several years back which was only $149,000. Although there were bombings in 2002 and 2005 which may have hampered the sales of lots in Bali, everything is better now and selling is picking up again.

The best website to visit when inquiring about lots in Bali is www.ptbalirealestate.com. And according to its record, about 37,000 individuals who are interested in buying lots in the island visited the said website.

And with the eagerness of individuals to get a chance to own a lot in Bali, which is a cheaper investment as compared to always staying in a Seminyak villa, Bellefontaine warns them that there might be unscrupulous people out there who might lure them into buying lots for cheaper prices but do not actually exist. This is because realtors in Bali do not need a license to sell lots.
