Kate Middleton appeared for her first ever public address in The Treehouse children’s hospice in Ipswich, Suffolk. She was dressed in a blue gown which she had taken from the wardrobe of her mother. It was a recycled Reiss dress from 2008.
It is a known fact by now that Kate Middleton, the Duchess Cambridge is thrifty by nature and does not believe squandering money in, of all things, clothes and fancy dresses. Hence, she loves to borrow from her mother.
It was not the first time that Kate has delved into her mother’s wardrobe and, probably, it would not be the last.
She also wore a thick black belt on the occasion to go with the blue gown.
The Treehouse of the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports children and young people from Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk who are suffering from life-threatening conditions.
It is a 3-million pounds sterling facility and cares for mentally retarted children and the Duchess is a Royal patron of the charity.
