Can you imagine getting a second chance at learning how to eat right and losing weight super fast while in rehab? I think I found it! I first heard about it from a coworker who dropped massive weight really fast, and literally ended up looking like a different person.
When I asked him how he did it he told me about the HCG way. So I studied and researched, watched massive vlogs on YouTube and even read an article about the Canuck's Hockey Team's anthem singer who dropped 172 pounds using HCG to assist him.
So, I'm trying it because gosh darnit, I've gained a lot of weight and am sick and tired of feeling unhealthy and looking FAT! My first day I dropped 6.6 lbs! How did I do it? I did it on one of the most controversial diets out there, I also did it on the HCG diet. But, calling it the HCG diet is quite deceiving because it doesn't really feel like a diet. It seems more like weight loss rehab.
The reason this eating plan is so controversial is how the program works, which makes most people, experts and doctors raise an eyebrow and say, "What?" You see, what you do is eat like a pig for the first two days--it's called "loading." Yes, it is true, it's actually a total blast if you want to know the truth!
During the load I gained 3 lbs. So I guess if you take that into account, technically I lost 3.6 pounds after the first day of cutting back on my food intake. But who the heck can eat ice cream, pizza, bacon, donuts, cookies, cake, etc. to capacity and only gain 3 pounds in two days and then how can a person lose that much weight plus 3.6 pounds in one day?
I'm pretty sure the HCG hormone that I am putting under my tongue and have been for the past three days played a role. I am using "real" HCG, not homeopathic. But the craziness is, there are a lot of YouTube vloggers who swear by the homeopathic drops and have had success.
The science of the plan was discovered in the 1950s and '60s by a Dr. Simeons who spells the whole theory out in his manuscript called Pounds and Inches. Kevin Trudeau writes about it and changes it up in The Weight Loss Cure and there is a newer study by Robin Woodall in the Weight Loss Apocalypse that also adds to Simeon's genius.
The reason this way of eating is so controversial is because, after the load, which can last anywhere from two days to a week, then immediately you go into what is referred to as the "very low calorie diet" (VLCD). The VLCD is 500 calories, but since you have the pregnancy hormone (HCG) in your system, you are not really hungry and it does not put your body into starvation mode because you are burning what Simeons refers to as "abnormal fat."
And that fat is giving you energy as if you are really consuming 2000 calories. After your VLCD days are over (Phase 2), you MUST go into another stage of the life change which is called stabilization (Phase 3), in which the HCG folks try to stay within two pounds up or down for at least three weeks while introducing a few more calories of fats and proteins to the plan.
Next, you have another three weeks to add more foods and stabilize in Phase 4. When you've completed all four phases, you can start another round where you begin the whole process all over again. Yes, the HCG life changer gets to pig out again. Woohoo!
I can go on and on about the fun I'm having while participating in the HCG community in a Yahoo group called HCG dieters and vlogging on YouTube, but I'll let you do your own research, and I'll keep you posted how I'm doing on my journey.
Any questions? Ask in the comment area and I'll do my best to answer them for you or send you to the correct resource.

Are you sure it's safe? Are you positive one won't sprout a third arm or leg?
Stay safe.
HCG is not approved for weight loss as a drug, anyone selling it for this over the counter is breaking the law.
It is certainly not true that hunger "is not a factor" for everybody who uses HCG, and even if it was true that would not make the 500 calorie diet safe - again, the consensus of independent reviewers is that this level of calorie intake is dangerously low.
