Uncertainty over Chavez's health roils Venezuela

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Friday, March 16, returned home after treatment in Cuba. Chavez traveled to Cuba on February 24, and February 28 surgeons removed his cancerous tumor. It is not known what type of cancer was found in the president. Presumably, it is a cancer of the colon.

Doctors found cancer in the Venezuelan president in the summer of 2011, when he moved to Cuba two operations. In addition, Chavez was in a friendly country, several courses of chemotherapy. In October 2012, Venezuela held presidential elections. Chavez was reelected three times to the post, intends to run again. Because of the cancer to participate in the elections is questionable,

but the president , when he met with reporters before leaving Havana, promised to approach the elections in the best shape.
