The West Regional game in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament between the #10 seed Virginia Cavaliers (22-9) and the #7 seed Florida Gators (23-10) will pit two teams against each other that have similar concepts in their starting lineup, but play with different philosophies.
Virginia plays with a three-guard lineup, but their main offensive threat is in the paint: Mike Scott (18.1 ppg, 8.4 rpg). The guards slow the tempo down by working the clock and by feeding the post. If teams double-team Scott, then one of the guards will make them pay from the perimeter.
Florida also plays with a three-guard lineup, but their main offensive threats are from the perimeter: Kenny Boynton (16.3 ppg), Bradley Beal (14.6 ppg 6.5 rpg), and Erving Walker (12.1 ppg).
The game is scheduled to start today at 2:10 PM EST. Instead of listening to your boss all day, you can watch the free live stream of this game that is provided by CBS Sports.
