Chennai, March 15, 2012: Two times - IPL Champions – the Chennai Super Kings have emerged as one of the biggest sports brand on social media site Facebook. Its page - is fastest growing page on Facebook in India, figures released by PageData (as on 14th March, 2012). At last count, the page had over 9 lakh followers.

According to data released, the Chennai Super Kings - Yellow brigade’s page showed a daily growth of 144604 fans and a weekly growth of 680190 fans and featured above renowned brands such as McDonald’s, Apple and Facebook itself.

Chennai Super Kings has always created more and more opportunities for its fans to interact with the team. Various fan engagement programs like Yellow card, mascot naming, etc. have been initiated by the marketing team of Chennai Super Kings which has helped to attain the immense support of fans.
