Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won the Republican caucus in Hawaii

According to the data, which are listed on the site of CNN, Romney received 45 percent of the vote, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania - 25 percent, Rep. Ron Paul - 18 percent.

Romney won as the caucus in American Samoa. The inhabitants of this territory under the control of the United States can not vote in presidential elections themselves, but in the primary elections are involved. Romney won the support of all nine delegates who will participate in the nomination of a candidate for the presidency from the Republicans.

On the same day, March 13, held the Republican primaries in Alabama and Mississippi. In both states, beat Santorum. In Alabama, he received 35 percent, the second place they shared Romney and former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich (they have to 29 percent). In Mississippi, Santorum received the support of 33 percent of voters, Gingrich - 31 percent, Romney - 30 percent.

Currently, the leaders of the Republican race remains Romney and Santorum. Gingrich still managed to win only on the primaries in South Carolina and Georgia. Ron Paul was the first in the number of votes at the caucus only the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, the majority of the delegates then went to Romney.
