Sahit Muja: U.S election 2012: Romney's lead in delegates grows.
Romney ended Tuesday picking up more delegates than Santorum because of the former Massachusetts governor's nine-delegate sweep in American Samoa and a victory in Hawaii's caucuses.
Romney having won the battleground in the states of OH, FL, NH and MI. Santorum 's "air pressure", which is at its peak right now, will reduce considerably once the race moves to NY, CA, UT, SD, NM, IL and other moderate states. To date, Romney has won 52 percent of the primary and caucus delegates, while Santorum has won 28 percent and Gingrich has won 14 percent.
As of Wednesday morning, Romney had 495 delegates to Santorum's 252. That's up from 454 and 217 before Tuesday's votes.
Gingrich now stands with 131 delegates andwith 48.
At their current pace, Santorum and Gingrich won’t come close to catching Romney, but they could extend the primary battle.
Romney is the most talented and experienced candidate to become the President of the United States in the coming election.
His Mormonism has added a dimension to this race in the South and Mid-West where intolerance for Mormons is bred deeply into their born again fiber.
Santorum sees an advantage in exploiting their bigotry. Let's face it, if Romney was a baptist, he would be doing a lot better among the ultra conservative rural born again Christians.
Santorum does not have the organization or funds to take on Obama, polls always puts him behind Romney against.
Santorum who lost his last race to his own constituents in Pennsylvania, does not have nearly the record of accomplishment that Romney has.
What we know about:
After getting a MBA and a law degree from Harvard, Romney took a job as a consultant at Bain Consulting.
Within 9 years he was CEO of Bain Consulting, while making Bain Consulting one of the most successful Management Consulting Firms in the USA.
He left Bain Consulting to form his own new company with the owner of Bain Consulting as a partner.
It was called Bain Capital.
The plan was to buy up companies that are not doing well financially or are bankrupt; then through their management skills and contacts make these companies profitable.
Then sell these companies at a huge profit.
Over the years Mitt Romney had major successes at: Del Monte Foods, Guinness , Staples, Inc. (taking it from one store to 2000), Am Pad (consisted of Niagara Envelopes, and SCM Writing Products), Totes Umbrellas
Isotoner Gloves, Sealy Mattresses, Alliance Laundry Systems, Domino’s Pizza and Artisan Entertainment.
Looking at these successful companies you realize that Mitt Romney has created tens of thousands of jobs.
Mitt Romnie’s success is in major contrast to Barack Obama’s, who was fired from his first two jobs (also consulting) after graduating from Columbia University; each after only one year.
According to Barack Obama’s biography on line they are Business International Corporation, and New York Public Interest Research Group.
Romney inherited a big Massachusetts state deficit and managed to balance the budget every year in office and left the state a sizable $2 billion rainy day fund.
Romney will win the nomination regardless of the Tuesday outcome.
Romney has the deep economic knowledge, proven record of successful problem solving, strong fiscal conservative record, and realistic, workable proposals we need. As a Washington outsider, Romney can deliver the smaller, smarter, more efficient government we need.
