It is unclear exactly what Sheffield Hallam student did with computer downloads in order to annoy US gov and parts of UK gov. How illegal his acts were? The US say he did dangerous illegal practice transgressing confidential boundaries.Yet in most cases such computer fraud would attract far less than 12 years in prison and he is almost juvenile.

O'Dwyer's mother claims the system is abusing him. She says our government link to more ruthless parts of UK government who downgrade vulnerable rights.

How far is she right? Can time tell?

I do know her comment about the idea of getting rid of someone by twisting it on them is true of certain culture.I have heard a lot of this in recent years around my area Barnsley, always a ruthless place in parts. They isolate minorities and many people do not like more innocent adults. They know in culture they can twist certain professional arms of police and legal personnel, if 'in groups' do not like someone; or they can go for someone who is morally appalled and criticises others. Often authorities do not like anyone to know right from wrong, even criminals seeming so important they are beyond reproach.

Last night in bus interchange a man said -on phone- he was claiming defamation against police of Barnsley. He looked innocent and I dared speak, having been victim of severe injustice myself (after being 'stood up' as a stalker victim, put deluded with no respect for life or my concern for public safety) for years. Then my case resolved- with life 'kicked in' after 10 years. I am effectively long term disabled although nicer people are humane and hear what goes on in my mind as somewhat human and ask if I am as well as can be.

Often mentality of 'get what you deserve' and 'crime is what we say, if we do not like you..we can pin crime of who we do not like, regardless of innocence....you are not our type, and do not perform as we like, and we pin tail on donkies". All this is very unspoken; people lack the sensitivity to describe worst part of their own nature and injustice of such approaches. They just DO it!

The man told me he made an error and parked his car too near a police compound. Police tortured him when they illegally played with his keys, and abused civil rights. Wheras with one more their type, they may have felt that it just merited a mild warning, with a friendly whisper, as given to one in the know. They then accused him of wanting to burn down their properties. I gave their victim who looked innocent and vulnerable, my IPCC rep who helped me; he said already it has been to court and he is due compen but police will not give it.

Police were so hard in my somewhat horrific immoral case of bad victim treatment- of honest legal virgin victim- that they told me no way I get compen.

A woman told an adult ed group she had been illegally mal referenced in Barnsley offices three times, about four years ago, and a lawyer said in essence she may apply for two thousand compen but she did not go to court. The adult ed centre said she was wronged.

I have felt for years that people who have conscience are abhorred by many police. Not by all I hope. It is a system innocent moral people are told be blind to. Police told me once I had no right to go near them; I was no sooner born than gone. Small opinions of little people in dangerous areas are disregarded. People get killed, but it they went along with acting on 'small opinion', they may save lives. Senseless.

You wonder what has gone on at the back of police and other culture, and if people are even illegally killed on the quiet.

What is putting police on to 'twist it' on those they do, unless powers that be are not the good legal upstanding law setters they claim to be? Anyone worked that out yet?
