MIRPUR, DHAKA: Asia Cup 2012 2nd match India vs Sri Lanka has been playing at Sher Bangla Stadium Mirpur, Dhaka in Bangladesh. Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to field first.

After Sri Lankan decision to field first, India started their inning but soon India lost their 1st wicket of Tendulkar at very early stage. Sachin Tendulkar scored just 6 runs. After losing wicket of Sachin, Indian 2nd wicket played a very responsible inning and made a partnership of 205 runs. Both opener Gambhir & one down position Kholi achieved their 100s. Gambhir scored 100 runs while Kholi scored 108 runs and lost their wickets one by one. Gambhir lost his wicket at 224 while Kholi at 226. India 4th wicket also made a partnership of 78 runs and remaind not out. Thus India scored 304 runs in 50 overs and set a target of 305 runs for Sri Lankan win.

Sri Lankan bowler Lakmal took 1 wicket while Mahroof took 2 wickets.
