Elisabeth Moss plays “Peggy,” a rather conservative character on AMC’s “Mad Men.” However, Moss is anything but conservative in her latest photo shoot to be featured in “Page Six” magazine. She’s wearing a trench coat, which is quite conservative. However, it’s what’s underneath that would certainly raise some eyebrows in “Mad Men.”
Moss, 29, is featured with her trench coat pulled up, revealing only apush up bra and stockings in the magazine’s photos. She’s featured on the cover of “Page Six,” but the interview that accompanies the photos is just as revealing as the photos.
She told “Page Six’ that her marriage to Fred Armisen (“Saturday Night Live”) ended last year because he simply was not himself. Moss said that Armisen wasn’t genuine. She said that a while back she heard someone say that Armisen was great doing impressions. Unfortunately, Moss said, his best impression was that of a normal person.
Of the photo shoot, Moss said that she really loves her adventurous side that seems to find its way out. The high heeled shoes, sexy stockings, and racy bra are so far removed from her role of “Peggy.” However, so is the talk about Moss’s ex-husband. One of the things that Peggy does on “Mad Men” is keep her private life just that – private. “Page Six” magazine is available today as an insert in “The New York Post.”
Moss said that she’s ready to get rid of the image that the role of Peggy has pinned on her. She thinks that people will be very surprised. Moss said that while she’s not one to walk around with the trench coat and sexy underthings on, she believes that every woman needs to explore her sexy, adventurous site.
Season 5 of “Mad Men” premieres on March 25 after an extended hiatus. Moss said that she thinks the viewers are going to be very surprised this season, especially with what happens to Peggy.
