Among the leaders of the five major European countries, German Chancellor
If Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel have a reputation comparable to the five countries (93% for the first, 92% for the second), however the French president collects only 33% of good opinions and bad 58%, while that the German ruling gets 50% of good opinions and 41% incorrect.
David Cameron, the British prime minister, is known to 88% of respondents and collects so many good and bad opinions, 44%.
Among the two latest entrants, the Italian leader Mario Monti is known to 74% of respondents and 36% have a favorable opinion of him, as far as bad opinions.
The Spaniard is the least known of the five European leaders (63%). It collects 27% support and 34% unfavorable opinions.
The survey was conducted from February 20 to 29, 2011, by Internet, on a sample of 4217 persons aged 15 and over, by the quota method.
