What was the big deal about the video Joel Pollak shared?
I was watching this morning CNN’s Soledad O’Brien when Joel Pollak appeared with what he felt was a bombshell video of President Barack Obama. The video showed President Obama giving an introduction for a law professor and it shows him embracing him.
Now, I will be honest with you, I did not see anything in that video that would be considered controversial; however, Joel Pollak seems to think that there is some kind of racially motivated conspiracy going on in the video. I don’t know, perhaps it is the fact that there is a very racially diverse crowd at the gathering, or that some folks there have signs asking for diversity what troubles this man. Seriously, I do not see anything.
Who is Joel Pollak?
I have seen Joel Pollak on CNN only once, but besides that I never heard of him before. So I decided to search his name in order to get a better feel for him. After all, he appears to be offended by large groups of racially diverse people, and signs that clamor for racial diversity also seem to be offensive to him. So I wanted to have a better idea of what motivates this mans obsession with Obama.
According to some of the information that I found on this guy, he was born in South Africa. He came here shortly after he was born in 1977 and became a naturalized US citizen in 1987. Several things stick out when I look at Joel Pollak’s biography. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the city that included Soweto. As you recall Soweto was a completely black area made up of run down homes and very poor, while Johannesburg was all white and rich.
Did you know Joel Pollak has apartheid in his history?
Again, according to his biography, Pollak came here during the late 1970’s, so his parents were certainly part of the abusive and aggressive minority that instituted the apartheid government in South Africa. So I was wondering, does Joel Pollak wants to bring apartheid to the U.S.? Is he the kind of person who believes on separating people by race? Perhaps he wants blacks to live separate from whites, and Latinos separate from everyone else, and Jewish people to live right along white people, separate from the other inferior races that are part of the US? May be he is against diversity, what do you think?
