Shootout in Southern Thailand Kills Four Rebels

A roadside bomb set in the volatile southern region of Thailandsuddenly exploded, killing four soldiers when they are on the way back after duty protection at a Buddhist festival, AFP lead Thaipolice said today that 8.3.

The bomb exploded late on 7.3 in Ruso district of Narathiwatprovince, as well as a soldier seriously injured another and destroyedtheir jeep, Srithanon Samlee police lieutenant said.
