Escorted in by the signature leather-clad architect Peter Marino, designer and Creative Director of, Marc Jacobs attended his Louis Vuitton - Marc Jacobs: The Exhibition photocall during Paris Fashion Week at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs on March 7, 2012 in Paris, France.
The “dress” was more of a tunic length polo shirt in jersey, perhaps a tad shear, which Jacobs took care of by donning a pair of white shorts underneath for modesty.
He accessorized with a “man clutch” in hand and donned his rhinestone buckled black loafers, which he also features in his Marc Jacobs collection.
The exhibition is opening in time for Paris Fashion Week features some of Marc Jacob’s contribution to the house of Louis Vuitton, which he has been heading as Creative Director since 1997.
On the invitee list were A-listers, , , , , Natalia Vodianova and Antoine Arnault, Chanel’s , Poppy Delevigne, Karlie Kloss and Louis Vuitton CEO Jordi Constans.
Was the exhibition held to console Jacobs who had recently come under fire for not paying models? It seemed to lift his spirits…
