Red Cross Resumes Syria Evacuation Talks

The deputy oil and mineral wealth minister in Syria, Abdo Hussameldin, has announced his defection through a video posted on YouTube. The official, who has been serving the Syrian government for the past 33 years, has withdrawn from the Baath party as well and accused Russia and China of backing the regime in killing the Syrian people.
