Yesterday, a former employee of food mogul Paula Deen has been hit with a harassment lawsuit in Georgia.
In the lawsuit, Lisa Jackson, a former employee of Paula Deen Enterprises, claims that she was the general manager of Deen's restaurant, Uncle Bubba's Oyster House, in Savannah for five years. Jackson resigned from the position in 2010.
The lawsuit has some damaging accusations about Deen, and her brother, Bubba Hiers, the co-owner of the restaurant. Deen and Hiers are accused of using the n-word as a racial epithet.
The other accusation was rather bizarre. The suit states that Hiers regularly subjected her to sexual harassment by showing her pornography in their office. He also constantly asked her about being in a threesome.
Of course, the defense threw up the no comment statement. "From this point forward, we're not commenting," said Deen's lawyer. In the upcoming months, we will have to see what happens with this lawsuit.
