How to Fix our Education System
Our post secondary education system in this country is on the verge of crisis. Tuition costs are rising at unprecedented rates, with no sign of slowing down. To combat this, the federal government and many Canadians seek to increase federal spending on education. This will not help; it's the reason we're in trouble in the first place. Michael Ignatieff's Learning Passport plan is looking in the right direction, but it comes during a time when it would make no difference. The system has to change before any policy such as this could prove effective.
