2012 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship Schedule

The Atlantic 10 conference has fourteen teams, but only allow for 12 teams to play in their men's basketball tournament this week and they still call themselves the Atlantic 10. Rhode Island and Fordham, step your games up next season. The first round games will be played on the home court of the higher seeded teams. The rest of the tournament will be played at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. Here is the schedule for the entire tournament.

First Round -- Tuesday, March 6th

Game 1: #9 Duquesne (16-14, 7-9 conference record) at #8 Massachusetts (19-10, 9-7) -- 7 PM EST.

Game 2: #12 Charlotte (13-16, 5-10) at #5 Saint Joseph's (19-12, 9-7) -- 7 PM EST.

Game 3: #10 Richmond (16-15, 7-9) at #7 LaSalle (20-11, 9-7) -- 7 PM EST.

Game 4: #11 George Washington (10-20, 5-11) at #6 Dayton (19-11, 9-7) -- 7 PM EST.

Quarterfinals -- Friday, March 9th

Game 5: Game 1 winner vs #1 Temple (24-6, 13-3) -- Noon EST.

Game 6: Game 2 winner vs #4 St. Bonaventure (17-11, 10-6) -- 2:30 PM EST.

Game 7: Game 3 winner vs #2 Saint Louis (24-6, 12-4) -- 6:30 PM EST.

Game 8: Game 4 winner vs #3 Xavier (19-11, 10-6) -- 9 PM EST.

Semifinals -- Saturday, March 10th

Game 9: Game 5 winner vs Game 6 winner -- 1 PM EST.

Game 10: Game 7 winner vs Game 8 winner -- 3:30 PM EST.

Final -- Sunday, March 11th
