Former world number one again showed his best side and stayed with the final of the emirate. beat the Scot 7-5, 6-4 to be crowned for the second time this year.

Roger Federer won on Saturday its fifth title in Dubai by defeating in the final British Andy Murray 7-5, 6-4 in 1 hour and 36 minutes. That way I got repeated two weeks ago in Rotterdam and reached the spectacular figure of 72 tournament wins in his career.

Murray, one of the few that has a balance in favor with Federer, even after this defeat, he wanted to take another hit as the semi-final against Novak Djokovic, the world number one. The Briton was aggressive from the start and with 3-2 in favor had two break points, the first two that gave Federer in the first round against Frenchman Michael Llodra. The Swiss, nevertheless saved.

And with the game 5-5, Federer took advantage of his opportunity. Wasted in principle a service of 40-0 with Murray, but in the fifth break point of winning the game and then sealed the set 7-5 .

The Scot felt the blow and returned to give his serve Federer, who escaped in the second set 3-1. But then Murray has achieved what seemed impossible after 66 straight games won on serve (from Rotterdam semifinals against Russian Nikolay Davydenko), the Swiss gave a break .

Murray seemed to stretch the game, but with 4-4, again at the decisive moment of the set, Federer broke, and with his serve and thanks to a winning drive in the second match point initialed the game and his fifth title at the Sheihk look Mohamed, the highest authority of the Emirate of Dubai.

" It was a nice win. It is a very difficult tournament, with many of the best in the Top-10 and Andy did a great victory (against Djokovic) to be in the final. I had a great start to the season and already had a good ending in 2011, I hope to continue like this, "Federer said after the victory.

Since the U.S. Open in September , Federer has won 33 of the 35 games played : only yielded to the Spanish Rafael Nadal in the semifinals of the Australia Open and Davis Cup against American John Isner.
