For Immediate Release

Miami Author Jay West has penned a controversial, witty, book titled "Be That Bitch," (Being In Total Control of Herself) which chronicles the relationships of women to each other, their families and the men in their lives. The non-fiction book is filled with explosive language and humor as it portrays the strength and weaknesses of women.

With her honesty and control of vernacular language, Author Jay West creates a path for healing to begin. West says as women begin to make themselves the priority in their own lives, a more fulfilling life becomes a blinding reality. She encourages women to live by her personal manifesto. "The time has come for women to "Be That Bitch," and reclaim control of what we so easily relinquish without question and in some instances to those who don't deserve it."

In "Be that Bitch," West shares some of her own relationships ups and downs as well as those of several women and men she followed over a course of a year. Through razor sharp wit, a pull no punches attitude and unusual insight, she makes the point that trying to be everything to everyone can be truly exhausting!

Learning how to say "no" is not a bad thing, says West. Sometimes you really just have to "Be That Bitch." The Book "Be That Bitch" is available on or at the author's website
