If anyone has paid attention to the GOP debates featuring Rick Santorum, people will understand that he seems more like a hypocrite than a true follower of God: attemtping to impose his beliefs on non-believers and using the U.S. presidental election platform to accomplish them.
Recent quotes by Santorum indicate his desire to impose his religious beliefs on our legal and governmental systems should he be elected. That ideology is a very dangerous one.
I take no issue with people who choose to observe and practice their own faiths. People in this world are reached in different ways as to their belief of whom they consider their faithful father, or the way they feel they should pratice their beliefs. Forcing others doesn't work and never will.
Admittedly, Santorum would use the government to regulate morality and dictate how to live your life because “faith has everything to do with it.”
Santroum has said:
"Every society in the history of man has upheld the institution of marriage as a bond between a man and a woman. Why? Because society is based on one thing: that society is based on the future of the society. And that's what? Children. Monogamous relationships."
"The idea is that the state doesn't have rights to limit individuals' wants and passions. I disagree with that. I think we absolutely have rights because there are consequences to letting people live out whatever wants or passions they desire."
What Santorum and his Bible waving cult followers fall to read or understand religious freedom is a law, found in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Santorum also falls to realize the entirety of scripture. In Matthew 7: 2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for his sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do.
How can Santorum and his voters be so clueless when voting for Santorum is an act of war, not only causing deaths of children in other countires (Iran) but stirring up war for U.S. troops who put their lives on the line and spend months or years away from family on the actions of a President Santorum who puts his hypocritical Bible beliefs first.
Santorum also said:
"Satan has his sights on the United States of America!"
"Satan is attacking the great institutions of America, using those great vices of pride, vanity, and sensuality as the root to attack all of the strong plants that has so deeply rooted in the American tradition."
"This is a spiritual war. And the Father of Lies has his sights on what you would think the Father of Lies would have his sights on: a good, decent, powerful, influential country - the United States of America. If you were Satan, who would you attack in this day and age?"
"He attacks all of us and he attacks all of our institutions."
It only shows Santorum is more of a judge than Jesus himself by using force politically instead of by invitation.
Philippians 2: 3 "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."

America should be moving forward not backward. If Santorum had any respect for women he would not be talking about how they should use their bodies. It's none of his business.
Great report, very provocative.
