Mitt Romney is McCain's Pick for VP
Acoordiing to Mark Halperin (previously of ABC's the Note, now working for Time), two Republican sources have confirmed that John McCain's pick for vice-president is no one other than Mitt Romney.
Considering how nasty Romney and McCain got in the Republican primaries, I can't imagine this could be a good overall strategy. Perhaps a move like this might help land Michigan, but I don't think it will be enough to get the base back.
This is Barack Obama's race to lose.
