Another skeleton has tumbled out of the cupboard of US President Barack Obama – this time it is in the form of Barack Obama’s ‘long lost’ uncle.

It seems that his 67-year old ‘Uncle Omar’ is an illegal immigrant and was arrested outside Boston for driving while in an inebriated condition.

The full name of ‘Uncle Omar’ is Onyango Obama and the incident is of 24th August last year. He had crashed his Mitsubishi 4X4 into a police patrol car outside a saloon in Framingham, Massachusetts and a subsequent breathalyzer revealed his blood alcohol content to be 0.14mg/100 ml of blood – the limit in the state is 0.08 mg.

He was detained an illegal immigrant because he had been deported to Kenya earlier but had stayed on in the USA. There is already an outstanding warrant against him issued by the US Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Earlier there was a problem with Obama’s aunt Zeituni – she also was living as an illegal immigrant in a Boston housing estate. She and ‘Uncle Omar’ were children of President Obama’s grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama by his third wife Sarah.

Aunt Zeitni later won a legal battle to stay on in the USA.

It is reported that Margaret Wong, the lawyer of Cleveland who had represented Zeituni so successfully has been retained by ‘Uncle Omar’ also.
