And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not; and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

-- Gen. 26:22 (KJV)

He continued digging and found another well. The opposition was too exhausted in attempting to obstruct him any more and finally left him alone. Persistence always defeats any obstacle. Keep digging!

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 8,4,3,2,6. (8) To have a new beginning in God, keep moving and do not remain idle. (4) To stay in God's Word, keep digging. (3) Stay in the Spirit in order for conflict to eventually cease. (2) The name Rehoboth means "room." Walk in God's kingdom so that He will put some space between you and your opposition. (6) To expose evil, speak correctly.
