
It is sad to report that David Thomas "Davy" Jones, the well-known English rock music artist; was found dead. Garnering lot of recognition for being ‘The Monkees’ member, Jones was found dead at his Indiantown home in Florida and according to his publicist; a massive heart attack remained the cause of Jones’ sudden death. He was 66-year-old.
Reports suggest that Jones’ dead body was discovered from his home on the morning of 29 February and his publicist informed the singer-songwriter died during his sleep. Survived by Jessica and four numbers lovely daughters, Jones was one of four members of pop rock music group The Monkees. Jessica Pacheco was Jones’ third wife with whom he had no children; Jones had two daughters each with Linda Haines and Anita Pollinger.
The lead singer of aforementioned made-for-TV pop group of 1990s, the baby-faced Davy Jones was Manchester (England) born. The Monkees ruled the small screen from 1966 to 1968 during which they produced hits in the likes of ‘Pleasant Valley Sunday,’ ‘I’m a Belier or ‘Last train to Clarksville’ etc.
Jones spent a busy time between 1980s and '90s. During the period, he appeared on ‘My Two Dads,’ or ‘’Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ etc. It was in the year 2009 when Jones had released the cover LP She, being his final album.
