Tiger Woods 09 - Walk on Water

Can anyone imagine 36-year old Tiger Woods the golfer trading in his golf clubs for a machine gun? It seems he did nurture such ideas, if his biographer is to be believed. This is another face of Tiger Woods.

His swing coach Hank Haney has made these startling revelations in his book ‘The Big Miss’ which is to be released shortly.

It seems Tiger’s father was in the elite force in Vietnam and Tiger Woods was keen on joining the US Navy SEALS.

When Hank explained that there is an upper age restriction of 28-years for joining the Seals, Tiger Woods apparently replied that they would make an exception in his case.

The reply came as a surprise to Hank to even imagine a man of Woods caliber and potentials to sweep aside his golf career and opt for a military life.

But, Tiger had visited several locations of naval bases to get acquainted with the US Seals training needs and he appeared to be quite serious. He trained in parachuting, self-defense, urban-warfare simulations and shooting.
