At least 12 people died in a riot at Diep Thanh district, near the cityof Kashgar, Xinjiang, China.

According to Xinhua, the group has equipped violent knife attackvictims in the district local Diep Thanh at 18g, 10 people died.Police shot and killed two suspects and are hunting down theelements involved.

Xinjiang has about 9 million Muslim Uighurs live in, where violenceoften occurred in recent years.

May 12-2011, Xinhua said seven people were killed in a hostage rescue, after a terrorist group kidnapped two local people. Previousthree months, three attacks were dozens of others injured inmysterious Son.

Xinjiang authorities accused in the violence, often by the extremistsand separatists made. But experts doubt that the terrorist groupoperating in Xinjiang.
