According to the details, the paramedics responded to an emergency call from Noel’s Columbus, Schomburg Road-based apartment on Wednesday evening. They were informed about a possible cardiac arrest but upon carefully looking over the body; they learned about the stab wound. Cops informed that apparently it was a stab wound, caused by a mail opener possibly.
After the arrest of 92-year-old Noel Morgan on Friday, the body of Annie Morgan was taken by the paramedics to perform an autopsy. The following day, autopsy results showed the poor woman had a punctured aorta, informed the authorities. The report further suggested that the wound to Annie’s aorta was caused by some sharp object such as a mail opener.
Noel Morgan who is in police custody now, faces the murder charge though on Saturday, the old man reportedly pleaded not guilty. The investigations are underway and police officials are looking into the matter to determine the facts.
