For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.

-- Gen. 26:15 (KJV)

In life, if you choose to progress, then there will always be people that will attempt to hinder you. In this example, wells were dug so that everyone in the area would be refreshed. The Philistines chose to obstruct this progress by refilling the wells with dirt. Never choose to be discouraged when someone is trying to stop you. That means that you are moving in the right direction.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 8,6,5,2,1. (8) To have a new beginning in God, keep digging. (6) When you expose evil, others will attempt to stop you. (5) When you walk in God's presence, others will attempt to obstruct your progress. (2) To be delivered, realize that others will attempt to hinder your progress. (1) When you walk in the anointing, others will attempt to stop your progress. Do not allow for them to stop you.
