Anti-US demo held in Landikotal (US-flag burnt)

LANDIKOTAL: Like elsewhere in the country, a protest really against the desecration of the Holy Quran on the hand of American soldiers was held in Landikotal bazaar on Friday.

The protest demonstration was organized by Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) Fata chapter participated by a large number of JI workers and leaders, local tribal, journalists, members of civil society. They chanted anti-America and Anti-Israel slogans while holding black flags and banners inscribed with “Down to America and go America go” slogans.

The angry protestors also marched from Bacha Khan Chowk to Railway-track where they burnt the America flag and US president Barak Obama’s fogy (Putla).

Addressing the protestors, Naib-Ameer Fata and nominated JI candidate for NA-45 for the up-coming election, Zarnoor Afridi, strongly condemned the act of burning of the holy Quran in US-run military base in

Afghanistan.

Zarnoor said that since long America was being involved in conspiracy against Islami Ummah and Muslims. Adding and let no opportunity down to hurt feelings and expressions of the Muslims and the present happen was its proof.

“America wanted to establish its hold on the World but would be success in its ugly plan”,Zarnoor vowed. He said that in the near future Afghanistan would repeat the Vietnam’s history for the occupied forces and would be a graveyard for the US and allied forces.

JI leaderes warned North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Nato) and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) to leave Afghanistan as early as they can or will face the same fate happened with English and USSR forces in Afghanistan.

Naib JI Landikotal Ameer, Abdur Rauf Shinwari, said in his address that he and all the Msulims in the world salute the Muslims brothers in Afghanistan who laid their lives for the honor of the Quran. He came hard on the rulers of Pakistan said that they were being acted as agents of America rather than to serve their countrymen.

Shinwari asked the masses to join his party (JI) for promulgation of Sharia rules. He urged Muslims to get united and foil every bid of non-believers against Muslims.
