With 155 days till the Olympics and the excitements are building up. Athletes are training hard and hoping to be included in the team.
Britain's rhythmic gymnastic girls hope to be including in the Olympics but will find out on 29 February.
In the last months test they fell short by 0.273 of the 45.223 qualifying target. They appealed and hope now that they will have improved enough to meet the target.
Naomi Folkard managed to win a silver medal in the competition at the World Indoor Cup in Las Vegas. She lost in the final against the Russian Ksenia Perova. However, Naomi was still very pleased about winning the medal.
She comes from Kidderminster and hopes to be chosen for the London Olympics in the next month shoots.
Yohan Blake, the world 100 meter champion, started his Olympic season with a personal best over 400 meters. He is a threat to his fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt. At an achievement of 46.49 secs but finished second over one lap in Jamaica on Saturday. It was a great improvement on the previous 49.80 secs.
Afterwards he remarked that he feels much stronger and knows he can be faster.
