After 25 years in hiding an amateur video of the 1986 Challenger Disaster came out. The video showed a space shuttle broke down killing all people inside.
The Challenger Disaster happened on january 28, 1986 where a space shuttle with 7 members onboard exploding while going to the space.
The amateur video which believed to be the only second one caught the disaster happened in Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral by Bob Karman of Hicksville, New York when his family spending the holiday at the Orlando airport.
The Challenger exploded after 73 seconds of it's launching and in Karman video you will hear a man says "There it goes... They must be up there," one man can be heard to say, while others wonder what they are seeing and remark, "Look at the little tails coming down there."
"After shooting the video, I had a sense that something went wrong but it wasn't until we were on the plane that the pilot confirmed the tragedy," Karman told New Scientist.
The first video recorded caught the incident was a video found in a basement in Florida, the owner described it "the only amateur film in existence of the world's worst space disaster, recorded in an era before mobile phone cameras, when even home camcorders were rare."
