Firefighters have located the bodies in the submerged ship that ran aground off the island of Giglio Tuscany, Italy. One of the dead is a five year old girl, who was traveling on the cruise with her father.
The bodies were found in the bridge 4 , where the morning had begun searching activities. They have not yet been recovered because of the bad weather conditions.
Among the dead included a five year old girl named Dayana Arlotti , who lived in Rimini, near Rome.
The Bridge 4 was identified as the venue for most of those who are missing. "After so long in the water bodies are in bad shape," said one witness. It will take time to remove the bodies because the cruise continues to dump, which makes further operations.
The Costa Concordia, which traveled 4,229 people in 60 countries (of which, 3,200 tourists were on a Mediterranean cruise), hit some rocks on the night of January 13 and sank within hours. The 17 people whose bodies have been identified so far are six Germans, four French, three Italians, one Hungarian, one Spanish and two Peruvian. The 15 people who have yet to find, without the smallest of five years, six German passengers, three Italians, a French couple, two Americans and an Indian crew member.
