A 44-year old Swede named Peter Skyllberg had, apparently, remained locked up in his 'Igloo Car' and was buried in deep snow in the town of Umea for nearly three months December to January and had survived on nothing but snow.

When found by passers-by, he was unable to move his limbs and could not even speak. He is undergoing recovery in the Norrlands Hospital.

While many persons treated this bit of news with disbelief, others justified it saying that it was not impossible - the man had probably gone into hibernation. We have heard of bears going into hibernation but it must have been the rarest of rare cases for a human being to do so.

However, as more details of this mysterious Swede keep emerging, one keeps wondering where reality vanishes and imagination takes over.

It seems he had broken up from his girl friend and was running away from debtors – he owes nearly 1.6-million Kronor (125,000 pounds sterling).
