Blessed Pedro Calungsod 2nd Filipino Saint
Calungsod was a lay missionary catechist who at age 17 was murdered together with Spanish Jesuit missionary Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores on April 2, 1672. Weighted with stones, their dead bodies were dumped into the sea.Calungsod brought back to life a Cebu dead woman. The woman dead for 2 hours woke up without brain damage, the doctor in attendance said.
