Jean Todt, president of Federation international of automobile (FIA), invites DRC Government to increase its road network. He says it today in a press conference in Kinshasa where he came to sustain the FIA action for road safety.

Before the intervention of FIA’s president, the president of Congolese Federation of automobile, the DRC minister of Plan, Olivier Kamitatu, indicates that the country rehabilitated 5 or 6.000 km of road during the last year on a potential of 50 or 60.000 km.

Jean Todt thinks the DRC road network is weak for a great country and believes that the minister Kamitatu and other DRC government members will do for increasing road network.

Between airport and his hotel, Jean Todt says that he saw people cross the road in this way and that and the driver of two wheels without helmet. “It is responsibility of the DRC Government to change that situation”, he says.
