The driver of a Porsche 911 changed his mind and decided to take a shortcut around some construction cones and to his astonishment he drove straight into wet concrete near Marina Green on Marina Blvd. in San Francisco Thursday.

The user of the Paceline bike forums Bobswire said it was coned off. The concrete appeared solid and the driver attempted to sneak in from a side street. The miserable driver remained stuck in his car. Bobswire said the driver didn’t want to open the door for fear the concrete might get in. The whole undercarriage and brakes will have to be cleaned or replaced.
