
Pop star legend, Whitney Houston, was laid to rest at a cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, after a star-studded funeral service which had been held yesterday.
Houston had been buried at Fairview Cemetery next to her father John Russell Houston, who had passed away in 2003.
The 48-year-old had been found dead in her room in Los Angeles hotel last Saturday. She had been found submerged in the bath, the cause of death is still unclear.
Fans watched the golden hearse travel towards the cemetery, but had not been allowed in.
Her funeral service had been attended by some of the biggest stars in the music industry on Saturday, also including her cousin Dionne Warwick, along with her mentor and former label boss Clive Davis, and Stevie Wonder.
Investigators are still awaiting the results from the toxicology tests.
Fans of Whitney Houston had gathered at the funeral parlour so they can watch the golden hearse which had her coffin leaving for the cemetery.
Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, had also arrived at the service but then left the funeral early.
