(Check It Out! Pictures!) SAO PAULO, Brazil- Millions of revelers and spectators gathered to celebrate the grandest holiday in Brazil, The 2012 Brazilian Carnival which celebrated by the three popular cities, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Salvador.
The annual celebration of Brazilian carnival is held forty-six days before Easter which based in Roman Catholic beliefs. In 2011, Rio de Janeiro's carnival alone drew 4.9 million people including 400,000 foreigners.
According to source, Police dispatched in Salvador and Rio de Janiero in recent weeks to secure the safety of the festival and display preparedness as the country will host the upcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics.
