Nick Cannon Kidney Failure: Mariah Carey Tweets That Condition 'Is Not Easy'

Nick Cannon, renowned radio artist also popular for his comedian roles on television, entrepreneurial ventures and production projects, is under media lime light for health issues. Nick Cannon revealed the sad news for his fans and listeners on Friday morning that he will be quitting his WXRK radio show in New York City.

Nick Cannon said “The news is out. This job is killing me,” “… What I need to recuperate for my body to get stronger … these are the hours I need to be sleeping. … I’ve been going hard.”

He also reached out to those who were following him on twitter by tweeted this morning, "The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow down and stop working so hard then it's a wrap!" Doctors also discovered an enlarged ventricle in Nick's heart.

He has been struggling with his health lately and would like to continue working after fully recovering. Nick Cannon has also been hospitalized last week as mentioned by himself. He said, “I actually had two blood clots in my lungs … and because of the blood clots … the right side of my heart was enlarged.”

He added: “My antibodies (in) my immune system were attacking my organs and it made my body even weaker.”

This is not the only health problem he faced. Unfortunately last month he was hospitalized or a mild kidney failure as reported by his wife Mariah Carey. Even though Nick has quit his radio show due to health issues he will continue as host of “America’s Got Talent” on NBC. He said "Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to cut back on some of my professional commitments to allow my body to get the rest it needs to keep up with the demands of my multitasking schedule."

Nick Cannon added with a heavy heart, "Even Superman has to sleep."

Nick is known as the popular host for The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'N Out, and America's Got Talent. He acted in the films Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce. As a rapper, he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the hit single "Gigolo", collaboration with singer R. Kelly. He has even recorded singles. He got married to R&B/pop singer Mariah Carey in 2008. Unfortunately the celebrity will have to take some time off his professional commitments to get better. Let’s wish him a speedy recovery!
