Hundreds of images of upsetting cartoon sex and explicit portrayal of incest on Josh Powell home computer were revealed, according to files release Friday.

Many of the estimated 400 images described in the state social services included sexual illustrations of popular cartoons, including child-centered characters such as Rugrats, Dennis the Menace and SpongeBob SquarePants. Fifteen images more showed 3-D pictures of sex involving parents and their kids.

Powell had told the psychologist six days before he killed himself and two sons that he visited only adult pornography sites.. Dr, James Manley wrote in his follow-up report said he had reason to conclude Mr. Powell may not presently be a stable and suitable resource for his children.
