Four months after being cleared of murdering her British housemate Meredith Kercher in 2007 in the Italian city of Perugia, Amanda Knox has signed a book deal with famous book publisher HarperCollins, reportedly worth $4 million, that would give readers ‘a full and unflinching account’ of her story, BBC said.
In a recent auction, seven publishers entered their bids for her book but Ms. Knox chose HarperCollins for reasons not specified.
HarperCollins publisher Jonathan Burnham said in a statement "She will reveal never before told details surrounding her case, and describe how she used her inner strength and strong family ties to cope with the most challenging time of her young life.''
The book would also cover her life in Perugia before the murder.
