Today wasn't just an ordinary day for the royal princess. Although her loving husband Williams wasn't there to celebrate the valentine's day with her beloved wife, which was supposed to be their first valentine after their marriage. But still the Duchess of Cambridge was busy in celebrating the day with a tour of Liverpool's charities. William was busy somewhere faraway in the Falkland Islands.
She was given a warm welcome by a bunch of people who were waiting outside Alder Hey Hospital to greet her. She was swarmed with flowers(including red roses, carnations and daffodils), bouquet, cards, and hugs from the cheerful crowd.
She was all smiles as she accepted roses and tulips from the assembled children. The gorgeous woman even shaked hands with a young girl waving a Union flag as she chatted to the crowds outside the hospital.
A queue of little well-wishers was seen snaking own the pavement away from Kate, hoping against hope they will get to speak to the future Queen.
Kate even chatted with different disease victims and their relatives - one example is of Aimee, suffering from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, with her mother who told the Duchess that her daughter's life had been saved by Alder Hey.
The kind words and floral tributes for Kate were endless, and the Duchess smiled tirelessly as she spent hours chatting to elated children and their parents.
